Richenda Van Leeuwen joins Advisory Board

We are excited to welcome Richenda Van Leeuwen to the Solar Head of State Advisory Board.

Richenda is a globally recognized energy access expert who from 2010-2016 founded and headed Energy Access at the UN Foundation and engagement with the UN Sustainable Energy for All Initiative. She is now Chair, International Institutions at the Global LPG Partnership (clean cooking), and a member of the Technical Advisory Group to ESMAP at the World Bank. Her deep public and private sector experience includes commercial and impact investment in emerging markets renewable energy companies with Good Energies, and 5 years as CEO of Trickle Up, an international women's microenterprise non-profit. She serves on the board of SELCO India, as a US "C3E" Women's Clean Energy Ambassador (Clean Energy Ministerial), and is a member of the Zayed Future Energy Prize Selection Committee.

Richenda's wide ranging experience in clean energy access and the nonprofit sector will be vital for advancing Solar Head of State's mission to help world leaders become green leaders.
