Dustin Jolley

Dustin has over 15 years of experience as a Civil/Environmental Engineer and has dedicated his career to the advancement of renewable energy and sustainable development. He is an experienced engineer, business developer, strategist, and project/program manager. He is accomplished in organizations from start-ups to large corporations and has held leading technical and managerial roles implementing over a gigawatt of renewable power generation. This work has employed technologies including solar PV & thermal, biomass, wind, hydro, fuel cells, storage technologies and hybrids. His civil engineering and sustainable systems experience also includes major civil projects such as green buildings & facilities, water & utility infrastructure including transmission, pipelines, pump stations, tunnels, dams/reservoirs and hydroelectric projects.
Dustin is an expert in distributed generation renewables and micro/smart grid technologies. His work has spanned the spectrum from personally designing and installing the smallest stand-alone remote hybrid power and water projects to key roles in some of the largest utility projects and programs ever built. He has been honored to be the recipient of several awards and recognitions including from the US Congress & Senate, USEPA, USDOE, private industry, and NGOs for contribution to our energy future.
He is passionate about implementing local and appropriate technology solutions, particularly for communities, tribes, islands, and in emerging markets where the work will contribute to the greatest social/environmental impact. He has worked in geographies throughout the Americas and has collaborated on work around the world. Mr. Jolley has a degree in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University. He is a registered professional Civil engineer (PE) in multiple states, a certified energy auditor (CEA) and a LEED Accredited Professional.
